From a Good Student to a Successful Entrepreneur.

 Entrepreneurship has grown rather common in recent years. However, not every person possesses the necessary entrepreneurial skills and can actually succeed. Among the silicon-valley-based entrepreneurs who deserve a special mention, Kishore Pallapothu is certainly one. From working as an employee in different companies to launching his own, he has evidently come a long way. Pallapothu is also known to work with and invest in small and mid-sized startups. However, the success that he enjoys today is a result of years of hard work.

Even as a student, Kishore Pallapothu was brilliant and performed quite well academically. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna University, he joined the prestigious Texas A&M University. There Pallapothu pursued and obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, before devoting himself to a career in Information Technology. 

Kishore Pallapothu’s academic certifications certainly helped him significantly in his early career. However, it was his practical knowledge and skills that helped him progress quickly early on in his career. 

Early career and employment

Kishore Pallapothu had a particular knack for fields related to artificial intelligence and that’s where he focused. He specialized in deep learning, machine learning, AI, mobile infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, computer vision, and more. He started off his career as a Senior Engineer at the Redwood City headquarters of Oracle corporation. He later joined a renowned CRM company, Siebel Systems as a project team lead. 

Kishore Pallapothu’s success as an entrepreneur

Pallapothu found innovation to be specifically attractive and eventually decided to launch his own startup. In fact, he launched multiple companies in his career as an entrepreneur, earning significant success. Among his startups, Sysnet Technologies was one of the most successful. However, Astir IT Solutions, a larger company based in New Jersey later acquired it. This allows Sysnet Technologies to further expand its operations. Two of the other startups that deserve special mentions are:

  • ChoozeHire: This startup marked Pallapothu’s expertise in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. In the contemporary world. Recruitment is a major hassle for large enterprises, especially in the corporate sector. ChoozeHire eases up the entire process by automating it. It is basically an AI-based platform that can be customized to meet specific business requirements. The platform seamlessly processes resumes, sets up interviews, helps the applicants and new employees, etc. In short, ChoozeHire has revolutionized the recruitment process. 

  • SkillWiki: This is a non-profit startup that Kishore Pallapothu launched to help IT workers develop their skills. The low-wage IT workers who are unable to grow higher up in their career because they cannot afford to study higher courses and upgrade their skills benefit from it. SkillWiki offers hands-on training and practical knowledge to the needy for free, along with granting access to various valuable resources. 

Kishore Pallapothu’s achievements, from being a brilliant student to succeeding as an entrepreneur are indeed an inspiration for budding entrepreneurs. Moreover, by launching SkillWiki, Pallapothu has also proven that it is possible to help out those in need while still enjoying a successful career as a venture capitalist.
